We understand this is a challenging and unsettling time for everyone. It’s important to remember that we are all in this together and will get through, so be kind to yourself and those around you. Please take a moment familiarise yourself with the increased precautions we are taking to ensure your safety while at our studios.
What we’re doing:
- Providing hand sanitisers throughout the studios – please use these regularly.
- Reducing our class numbers across yoga, meditation and fitness/boxing to ensure an increased and safe space is maintained between guests.
- We will still serve tea, but will be offering compostable, disposable single use cups only.
- Providing every Pilates bed with an antiviral disinfectant to clean the bed down. You are more than welcome to give them an extra clean at the start of class if that makes you feel more comfortable.
- For the time being we will not be using eye pillows or props that come into contact with your face.
- We are disinfecting all handles before and during every class and all fitness studio equipment between classes.
- Our teachers will not be offering hands on adjustments.
- Increasing the time between late evening classes to ensure there is enough time to thoroughly clean between classes (please check the timetable to see these changes).
What we’re encouraging you to do:
- For increased safety, please bring your own drink bottle to refill at our filtered water stations.
- Please use hand sanitiser before and after class and after the use of any public area in the studio.
- If you own your own mat, please bring it to use. We will still provide mats for those who don’t have one and ensure thorough cleaning is done before each class.
- Practice social distancing – no hugs or handshakes.
- This is a safe and social space, but let’s all stay responsible for each others health and wellbeing.
If you are feeling unwell, have a fever, cough or flu-like symptoms, please stay at home and rest. Also, as advised by the Prime Minister today, anyone arriving back to Australia from overseas travel is required to self-isolate for 14 days. If you are worried, please seek medical advice.
One of the best defences against this virus is to keep your immune system strong. Some of the best ways to do this are prioritising rest, eating healthy and whole foods and managing stress levels. We realise these situations can create an increase in stress and worry so if you are staying home here are some online meditations from our wonderful teachers to listen to. In addition, every morning at 8:45am this week Simon Davey will be leading a 25 minute meditation class via Instagram Live. Follow us to tune in.
We are monitoring the situation closely and doing everything to stay up to date. Here are some further resources to help you stay informed:
