In-Studio Membership and Class Pack Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 2 hours before class will result in no penalty.

Cancellations and No-Shows made less than 2 hours before class will result in a forfeit of the class and a late cancellation fee

Weekday Cancellations

Cancellations and No-Shows made less than 2 hours before class will result in a forfeit of the class and a $10 Late Cancellation Fee.

Weekend Cancellations

Cancellations and No-Shows made less than 2 hours before class will result in a forfeit of the class and a $15 Late Cancellation Fee.

In-Studio Class Pack and Casual Class Cancellation Policy

In-Studio Waitlist and Cancellation Information

How To Cancel
You can early cancel your classes via our app, by email, or by phone.

We understand that sometimes late cancellations and no shows are unavoidable. Our goal is to give every guest the best possible experience and we will use discretion when applying our policy. Please email us if necessary.

Waitlist Information
We encourage you to join a waitlist if a class is full. In order to receive waitlist updates you must opt-in for text message notifications and always reply to messages to confirm your attendance. If we do not receive a confirmation reply, we cannot ensure a spot will be held for you.

To make sure you are receiving notifications from us about late cancels or no shows, check your notification settings on your account.

Update Notification Settings on our Website:
Go to Account > Account Info > Scroll to ‘What Do You Want To Hear About’ > select all that apply.

Update Notification Settings on the Happy Melon App:
Go to Profile > Edit > Under Additional Info select ‘email opt-in’.

Please always confirm your attendance where possible.

Arrive On Time & Check-In
To avoid accidentally being marked absent for a class, please always check-in with your teacher or a front of house staff member before every class.

We kindly ask you to arrive at the studio on time (ideally 5-10 minutes early). If you are late for class we are unable to ensure your spot will be held.

 

 

In-Studio Pre/Post Natal Policy

If you are pregnant we are happy for you to continue to practice pilates with us up until 16 weeks. If you have a high risk pregnancy we ask you to get your doctor’s approval. Please inform your instructor what week you are up to at the beginning of each class, as modification may need to be given.

After 16 weeks we recommend you attend a specific prenatal program – we are happy to recommend a few studios close by the run excellent classes prenatal programs.

Once you have had your baby we would love you to return. We do ask you await to the 6-8 week mark to get clearance from your GP or obstetrician.  Unfortunately you won’t be able to bring your baby but we hope that the hour you spend with us is a beautiful hour of mindful movement and self care.

In-Studio Events and Treatments Cancellation Policies

Events, Workshops and Courses
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before an event/workshop or course will result in a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before an event/workshop or course will result in a forfeit of any payment made.

Treatments
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a treatment will result in no charge for the session.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a treatment will result in a 100% charge for the session.

Online Class General Terms & Conditions

• Our Free Trial (valid for 7 days) is available to new clients. You can only purchase this introductory offer once. The introductory offer is non-refundable nor transferable and will activate from the date of your first class booking.

• Payment must be made prior to booking. To book into a class you must have a membership or drop in class active on your account.

• An email invite will be sent to join the class online 15 minutes before. If you are late to class you may still join. We cannot refund class credits if you are late but we can use our discretion and rebook you into another class where possible.

• Gift cards can be used for Online classes. They are not redeemable for cash and are non transferable. Happy Melon does not offer refunds on Gift Cards but will use discretion in transferring or extending.

Online Class Cancellation Policy

• If you are unable to attend your booked class please do your best to cancel at least 2 hours before the class. Alternatively you can email or call to let us know you can’t make it.

• Cancellations made more than 2 hours before class will result in no forfeit of the session.

• Cancellations and No-Shows made less than 2 hours before class will result in a forfeit of the session.

In-Studio Membership & Class Pack Terms & Conditions

Weekly Memberships

• Memberships operate on a 7 day (weekly) autopay schedule from the credit card stored in MindBody (a secure system).

• Memberships will continue with scheduled autopays unless Happy Melon is notified of a suspension or termination request in writing (see Suspensions and Terminations below).

• 4 week minimum commitment / No sign-up fee.

Upfront 1, 3, 6 & 12 Month Memberships

• 3, 6 and 12 Month Memberships must be paid in full in advance.

• Discounts apply for 3, 6 and 12 Month Memberships.
10% discount for 3 months, 15% for 6 months, 20% for 12 months. 

Membership & Class Pack Details

• All In-Studio Memberships offer unlimited meditation classes (in studio & online).

• All In-Studio Memberships offer unlimited online & on-demand access.

• Weekly Membership classes do not roll over onto next week if unused.

• For Upfront Membership flexibility benefits, please contact our Membership Manager: jade@happymelon.com.au.

• All Memberships cannot be shared or transferred.

• Class Packs can be shared at the discretion of Happy Melon

•  Class Packs have a 6-12 month expiry date. Extensions can be used at the discretion of Happy Melon.

• Class Packs purchased on a promotion are non-refundable and can be extended for one month only.

Online & On-Demand Membership & Class Pack Terms & Conditions

• Memberships operate on a 28 day (monthly) or 7 day (weekly) autopay schedule from the credit card stored in MindBody (a secure system).

• Memberships will continue with scheduled autopays unless Happy Melon is notified of a suspension or termination request in writing (see Suspensions and Terminations below).

• 10 Class Live Pack is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Classes are non-refundable and non transferable.

• Class Pack Extensions for personal reasons like travel or injury will be applied with discretion.

• Class Packs purchased on a promotion can only be extended once for a maximum of one month.

In-Studio Membership Suspension

 Weekly Memberships

Weekly Memberships can be suspended for a minimum of a week. This must be requested in written form via email. No notice is required for suspensions however please be mindful of your autopay schedule.

Upfront, 1, 3, 6 & 12 Month Memberships

Monthly Memberships can be suspended for a minimum of one week and maximum of two weeks. This must be requested in written form via email. The expiry date of the Membership will be extended to account for that suspension period.

3 Month Memberships can be suspended for a minimum of one week and maximum of two weeks over the three months. This must be requested in written form via email. The expiry date of the Membership will be extended to account for that suspension period.

6 & 12 Month Memberships can be suspended for a minimum of one week and maximum of one month. This must be requested in written form via email. The expiry date of the Membership will be extended to account for that suspension period.

In-Studio Membership Termination

Weekly Memberships

Weekly Memberships can be terminated after completion of the 4 Week Commitment.

Weekly Memberships will continue to be charged on autopay unless notified otherwise via written request (email).

Happy Melon requires a least one week’s written (emailed) notice to terminate Memberships. Please email termination requests to jade@happymelon.com.au.

Early termination of weekly memberships is used at the discretion of Happy Melon. In case of long term injury or illness a written confirmation from a medical doctor will be required.

Upfront, 1, 3, 6 & 12 Month Memberships

Upfront monthly, 3, 6 or 12 Months Memberships cannot be refunded once purchased.

In case of long term injury or illness, Happy Melon can use their discretion in transferring upfront memberships.

The monetary value of the Membership can be used towards any Happy Melon offerings.
