In-Studio Membership Class Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 3 hours before class will result in no penalty.
Cancellations made less than 3 hours before class will result in a late cancellation fee.
No Shows will result in a late cancellation fee.

Weekday Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 3 hours before class will result in a $10 Late Cancellation fee.
No-Shows will result in a $10 No Show fee.

Weekend Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 3 hours before class will result in a $15 Late Cancellation fee.
No-Shows will result in a $15 No Show fee.

In-Studio Class Pack and Casual Class Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 3 hours before class will result in no penalty.

Cancellations made less than 3 hours before class will result in a forfeit of the session.

No-Shows will result in a forfeit of the session.

Waitlist and Cancellation Information

How To Cancel
You can early cancel your classes via our app, by email, or by phone.

We understand that sometimes late cancellations and no shows are unavoidable. Our goal is to give every guest the best possible experience and we will use discretion when applying our policy. Please email us if necessary.

Waitlist Information
We encourage you to join a waitlist if a class is full. In order to receive waitlist updates you must opt-in for text message notifications and always reply to messages to confirm your attendance. If we do not receive a confirmation reply, we cannot ensure a spot will be held for you.

To make sure you are receiving notifications from us about late cancels or no shows, check your notification settings on your account.

Update Notification Settings on our Website:
Go to Account > Account Info > Scroll to ‘What Do You Want To Hear About’ > select all that apply.

Update Notification Settings on the Happy Melon App:
Go to Profile > Edit > Under Additional Info select ‘email opt-in’.

Please always confirm your attendance where possible.

Arrive On Time & Check-In
To avoid accidentally being marked absent for a class, please always check-in with your teacher or a front of house staff member before every class.

We kindly ask you to arrive at the studio on time (ideally 5-10 minutes early). If you are late for class we are unable to ensure your spot will be held.

 

 

Pre/Post Natal Policy

If you are pregnant we are happy for you to continue to practice pilates with us up until 16 weeks. If you have a high risk pregnancy we ask you to get your doctor’s approval. Please inform your instructor what week you are up to at the beginning of each class, as modification may need to be given.

After 16 weeks we recommend you attend a specific prenatal program – we are happy to recommend a few studios close by the run excellent classes prenatal programs.

Once you have had your baby we would love you to return. We do ask you await to the 6-8 week mark to get clearance from your GP or obstetrician.  Unfortunately you won’t be able to bring your baby but we hope that the hour you spend with us is a beautiful hour of mindful movement and self care.

In-Studio Events and Treatments Cancellation Policies

Events, Workshops and Courses
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before an event/workshop or course will result in a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before an event/workshop or course will result in a forfeit of any payment made.

Treatments
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a treatment will result in no charge for the session.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a treatment will result in a 100% charge for the session.

Online Class General Terms & Conditions

• Our Free Trial (valid for 7 days) is available to new clients. You can only purchase this introductory offer once. The introductory offer is non-refundable nor transferable and will activate from the date of your first class booking.

• All Online Class purchases are final, non-refundable, not transferable. Upon re-opening of the studio any unused Online Class sessions will be turned into account credit to use towards classes of your choice.

• Class bookings close 15 minutes before the scheduled time. No bookings will be possible after this.

• Class cancellations made -1 hours prior to class start time will forfeit that session.

• Payment must be made prior to booking. To book into a class you must have a membership or drop in class active on your account.

• An email invite will be sent to join the class online 15 minutes before. If you are late to class you may still join. We cannot refund class credits if you are late.

• 1 Class Packs are valid for 1 month from the purchase date. Sessions are non-refundable, are not transferable and but can be extended if you are injured or unwell.

• 5 Class Packs are valid for 3 months from the purchase date. Sessions are non-refundable, are not transferable and can be extended if you are injured or unwell.

• 10 Class Packs are valid for 6 months from the purchase date. Sessions are non-refundable, are not transferable and can be extended if you are injured or unwell.

• Gift cards can be used for Online classes. They are not redeemable for cash and are non transferable. Happy Melon does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions on Gift Cards.

Online Class Cancellation Policy

• If you are unable to attend your booked class please do your best to cancel at least 3 hours before the class. Alternatively you can email or call to let us know you can’t make it. This will allow those on our waitlists the opportunity to practice.

• Cancellations made -1 hours prior to class start time will forfeit that session.

In-Studio Membership Terms & Conditions

Weekly Membership

• Memberships operate on a 7 day (weekly) autopay schedule from the credit card stored in MindBody (a secure system).

• Memberships will continue with scheduled autopays unless Happy Melon is notified of a suspension or termination request in writing (see Suspensions and Terminations below).

• 4 week minimum commitment / No sign-up fee.

Pre-Paid Monthly Membership

• Discounts apply for 3, 6 and 12 Month Memberships. 10% discount for 3 months, 15% for 6 months, 20% for 12 months 

• 3, 6 and 12 Month Memberships must be paid in full in advance.

Membership Details

• All Memberships include unlimited Meditation classes
both in-studio and online.

• Essential Memberships include 2 in-studio Yoga, Pilates
and Fitness classes/week.

• Premium Memberships include 4 in-studio Yoga, Pilates
and Fitness classes/week.

• Unlimited Memberships include unlimited in-studio Yoga, Pilates and Fitness classes/week as well as unlimited access to LIVE Online classes and On Demand video library.

• Yoga Memberships are limited to Yoga classes only (unlimited).

Online Membership Terms & Conditions

Online Monthly Membership / Weekly Membership

• Memberships operate on a 28 day (monthly) or 7 day (weekly) autopay schedule from the credit card stored in MindBody (a secure system).

• Memberships will continue with scheduled autopays unless Happy Melon is notified of a suspension or termination request in writing (see Suspensions and Terminations below).

• Upon re-opening of the studio all clients with active Online Memberships will be contacted and offered in-studio membership options moving forward.

Membership Suspension

• At least 1 weeks written (emailed) notice is required for membership pauses and suspensions.

• Suspensions are available for a minimum of a week and maximum of 3 months. Please email requests to hello@happymelon.com.au.

Membership Termination

• Happy Melon requires at least 1 weeks written (emailed) notice to terminate memberships. Please email request to hello@happymelon.com.au.

• In the case of long term or permanent injury or illness that prevents the use of our services, immediate membership termination will be permitted. Termination will take effect from the date we receive written confirmation from a medical doctor.
