Sensory Pathways to Self Care

Sunday 30th March

Yoga and Mindfulness Workshop with Emily

Have you struggled to find what type of self care is truly best for your own physical, mental and emotional health? While your friend might be all about massages, you might find singing bowls, aromatherapy or candlelight the most calming for your sensory preferences. Ultimately, the senses are the most direct gateway to mindfulness and being in the present moment.

Using approaches like slow flow yoga, active meditations, breath work, psychology and somatic therapy exercises, Emily’s teachings will help you feel as alive, present and connected to yourself as you can possibly be.

You’ll take home practical, in-the-moment techniques to help you move out of states of stress and emotional dysregulation when life gets overwhelming.

It is the perfect workshop if you’ve felt somewhat disconnected to your own needs and care as you’re often focused on fulfilling the demands of others. It will also just be a delicious, pleasurable experience all about using sensory tools, as well as music, chocolate and tea to pave the pathway to presence.

When: Sunday 30th March | 1-3pm
Where: High St Studio
Cost: $55 Members | $60 Visitors
