MEMBERS & CLASS PACK ACCESS

Hi Melons,

I hope you are well. I’m reaching out to let you know that while we run our challenge, we’re limiting the class access to our members (including class pack holders) from 10 June – 30 June. This means only those on a membership, who have signed up to our Winter Challenge or who have purchased a class pack or casual class through Happy Melon will be able to book in during these dates.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

Firstly, we want to make sure our members can still attend their favourite classes while the studio is busier during our 21 Day Challenge.

Secondly, as much as we love opening our doors to all platforms, we have noticed a recent uptick in members crossing over to ClassPass. While we totally appreciate this may be a convenient and more cost effective way of attending our studio, it unfortunately doesn’t work for a small business like ours as we only receive a portion of what you pay.

You can think of it like the UberEats of the wellness industry; a large multinational company (Mindbody now owns ClassPass) making it more challenging for us to support our teachers and the local community.

We love our community and are incredibly committed to offering you a wonderful level of service, and ask when possible, to please purchase through Happy Melon. We also want to remove the financial barrier to prioritising your health and wellbeing where possible, so if you are facing financial challenges, please let us know and we’re happy to chat confidentially to find a solution that works for you.
